Horizon Festival 2015 announce headliners and first wave of acts

Horizon Festival 2015 takes place at Bansko, the biggest ski resort in Bulgaria, from March 7th to March 13th 2015. What makes this boutique festival such an unique and incredible experience, is the snow holiday element of both ski-ing and snowboarding, mixed in with some of the best electronic dance music Europe has to offer - all at unbelievably low prices.  Prices for the week (accommodation, skiing and festival entrance) start as low as 259GBP per person.

The festival represents a wide range of dance genres. 2015 will see established House and Techno artists Moodymann, KiNK, Ben UFO, Move D and Egyptian Lover performing both on the slopes and around the downtown clubs. The Bass and Garage scenes will be represented by acts such as DJ EZ, Om Unit and Benton, while the Groove side of the festival will be covered with live appearances from Submotion Orchestra, Fatima and the Eglo Band and Mungo’s Hi-Fi.  On top of that, a whole host of up-and-coming artists are billed across the seven-day festival. Previous years have seen breaking dance music stars such as Jackmaster, Route 94, Ben Pearce and Bondax perform, so if you like to stay ahead of the crowd this is the place to hear music that is just about to break big.

Now in its third year, Horizon presents a unique winter snow holiday wrapped up in an abundance of cutting edge electronic music, spread across thirty unique venues. You never quite know where the next party will next take place with secret mountain hotels, forest stages, medieval banquet halls, underground cavernous clubs and abandoned warehouses all playing host to the Horizon parties, alongside the town’s numerous clubs and bars.

Bansko has one of the longest ski seasons in Europe and the 70kms of breath-taking mountain ski slopes up to 2600m high, provide all Horizon-goers ample ski and board fun. Beginners can take advantage of the ski school at very low cost and intermediates can make good use of the long blue and red runs. The mountains black runs are guaranteed to clear advanced skiers’ fuzzy heads in preparation for the next series of parties.

Food and drink are also super cheap – you can eat out for as little as £5 in Bansko, which also offers up the beauty of the Pirin National Park, ancient streets, culture drenched churches and a wealth of history dating back to the earliest settlers.

For a week of epic proportions, book your tickets early through the Horizon website now. A brilliant, affordable snow holiday, packed with novel Bulgarian charm, great quality food and drink, a breath taking mountain playground, friendly and beautiful faces and of course the non-stop music, which neighbouring towns can just about hear… What’s not to love?
